Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager | Dublin | Hybrid | Permanent

Hiring on behalf of a client firm currently on a significant IT transformation journey, modernising infrastructure, security, and operations to support long-term growth and client service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ICT projects across infrastructure, security, and operations transformation
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain project artefacts — charters, plans, timelines, budgets, risk logs, and status reports
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage relationships with internal teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and vendors
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders
• Support change management and technology adoption initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes
• Conduct post-project evaluations and capture lessons learned

Requirements

• 5+ years' project management experience with a track record in digital transformation
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure — cloud, networking, servers, and storage
• Solid knowledge of security principles and risk management
• Proficient in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• PM certification required (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile equivalent)
• ITIL knowledge advantageous; Microsoft Cloud certification a bonus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
